Multi Max Alfalfa Blend contains creeping alfalfa, vernal alfalfa and multi leaf alfalfa. The creeping alfalfa handles wetter soils better than traditional alfalfa. It also tolerates heavy deer grazing better than regular alfalfa. The vernal is a winter hardy alfalfa that will lessen the chances of winter kill. The multi leaf alfalfa variety in this blend is also cold tolerant and drought tolerant. It is very attractive and is a powerhouse. This blend will be high yielding and can be planted from Maine to Northern Georgia to the western plains.
