1-4.5 lb. bag of alfalfa. This alfalfa is winter hardy and will survive harsh winters.   It will last typically 3-5 years on well managed properties. One 4.5 lb. bag will plant 1/5 of an acre or it can be added to your perennial blend at one to two bags per acre. It also can be frost seeded or overseeded into existing plots.
