Just bought some of the soil builder mix and it came in yesterday. I'm excited to get it in the ground but in the meantime I was hoping to get some more info on it. What can I expect out of the mix? As in will part of it come in first and other parts later? I have used clovers before but never triticale, buckwheat, oats or peas.

Ya, What is this....I have it in my plot but I didn't plant the soil builder. I planted grains and greens which is similiar to soil mix without the brassicas.
This is a plot I haven't planted yet. I was just wondering what this is growing here?
My soil builder mix has been out for about a month now now I took some pics.
Thanks. Here are the stats on my field for soil builder. Last soil test, organic matter, 1.9%, < 2% is poor, 4-10% is ideal.
I will follow with bulb galore mix.
Maybe overthinking, but would you consider overseeding a cereal later (after the brassicas and bulbs) to give some spring greenup?
This will be year 2 of planting soil builder so next season I'll retake a soil sample. I'll burn it down in August little till it into the soil and plant with fall brassicas and bulbs.
How long have you been planting soil builder? How is your organic matter since? Do you follow up with other plantings?
All of my fall food plots get planted with soil builder in the spring so I can regenerate the soil by building up organic material that will become organic matter.
I have ordered some too. I do not know where you are. I am in upper lower peninsula in Michigan. I will have to wait for a while. The clovers and buckwheat have to be planted after threat of frost is done and a temperature of 60 degrees. I fall seeded cereal rye in that field and will till the spring regrowth before planting.
I have planted buckwheat before and it generated quickly.
I am planning on broadcasting Bulb Galore into the same field in the fall.
I have planted oats before and did get some reseeding and regrowth after cutting. I may clip prior to the fall broadcasting of Bulb Galore.
I have read positive info on triticale. I hope to find out.
I hope that someone else gets on this thread.
