By way of introduction, my son and I are trying to improve our deer hunting on our 65A. Our plan comes at it from many angles. Bedding cover, secure travel, screening, water, wetlands, minerals, reduced pressure, better scent control, and soil/nutritional enhancements. Always looking to learn! A continued work in process.

Time for an update.
That was some project. Hope that they grow like crazy.
Was painful!

Thanks. I am guessing that I am going to have to drop small amounts all over the field, then drag it to spread it further. I do not know how accurately this will spread the material evenly throughout the field.
We used a Ranger and did each tree by hand. No good suggestions here.
I am considering getting some Dairy Doo. It is composted manure. Any suggestions for spreading it evenly? I can not use a drop spreader.
That was mulch we put around the 110 hybrid Salix we planted along the road that will serve as a screen hopefully; assuming they survive! Watered them a ton last year due to a serious drought and fresh planting. I don't plan to water them this year. A ton of work! Hope they took good.
That was a sweet video. What did the dump truck unload?
Thanks for sharing your video. Habitat management is indeed a "work in progress", but the results are worth the work. Not just for deer purposes, but for the property itself.
Awesome! Thanks for sharing
