So now is the time I apply my other half of my application of K (Potassium) to my existing Mass Builder in upper MI from Grandpa Ray Outdoors. This is the second year since this plot was put in back at the end of May back in 2016. I applied 150lbs of K this spring and now I am applying the other 150lbs of K for Fall. I consider this as part of my winterizer. Overall, this 1 acre plot is doing extremely well and handling the deer browse very well! The deer are starting to really hammer on it now and they even love the chicory that is in this mix!
Greetings. I am in Lewiston. I planted mine 8/29. I overseeded rye in bare spots. I have a question about the annuals since I planted later than you, May in 2016. What can I expect next spring?
I did not get much heat this summer, too many nights in the 40's. My sorghum screen only grew to 3', last year was 7'.
